Written by We are delighted to announce that the winner of the FSA Student Essay Competition 2019 is Veronica Heney. Veronica’s winning essay is titled: ‘Unending and uncertain: thinking through a phenomenological consideration of self-harm towards a feminist understanding of embodied agency’. Veronica is a PhD student at the Wellcome Centre for Cultures and Environments of Health at the University of Exeter.
The winning essay along with the six other shortlisted entries will be published in the Journal of International Women’s Studies in February 2020.
