Funding Opportunity for BIPOC scholars

The FSA Small Grants Scheme Spring Call (2026) currently awards 2 small grants (2 x £150) and a year’s membership to the FSA to academics based in UK/Ireland who identify as BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and People of Colour) to support feminist research and feminist researchers. The 2026 Small Grants scheme has been awarded, details for 2027 to follow.

Past Small Grants Scheme

The FSA has previously awarded a small grant for workshops, seminars and conferences organised by and for postgraduate students. These events focused on an aspect of feminism, women’s studies or gender. The award funding has been used for a range of purposes and alongside other awards.
