Funding Opportunity for BIPOC/BAME: The scheme has now closed as the funds have been allocated
The FSA awards a small grant of up to £250 to support feminist research and teaching undertaken by academics based in the UK or Ireland who identify as BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Colour). Applicants may request up to £250 to help cover the costs of event registration, hosting events, travel, childcare, software/hardware (i.e. books/printers/transcription costs) or to support access needs. The scheme has two funding blocks per academic year and operates on a first come, first served basis for those who meet the eligibility criteria. We particularly encourage applications from postgraduate, ECR, and precarious colleagues.
The Small Grants team are happy to discuss prospective applications. In addition, we will be regularly reviewing the application process and as such feedback on the scheme is most welcome.
